a day when
I wont have to feel this way

betrayed

by my own hands


lost my sight
all I want is to see

grasp my hand
pull me up
so I can breathe

lift the weight from my chest so I can

Breathe

on my own

I hope to

Break down the walls
bring you close
To my heart

or what's left

as we piece it back together

I hope

To be complete
to feel

to smile

I smile
For you

[so I can breathe]

can I smile



for me?

aww,w beautiful work. I love the irregular (but definate) rhythm + flow of it.definately one of the best poems I've read in a while!
